Our team, Kate Conyers and Jesse Nix, met while working at Salt Lake Legal Defenders, the most experienced and recognized defense firm in Utah. We have represented thousands of clients charged with felonies and misdemeanors, including homicide, rape, sexual abuse, aggravated assault, possession of firearm and drugs, theft, domestic violence, DUI’s, and traffic offenses. Our experience in the courtroom includes jury trials and bench trials, preliminary hearings, motions, cross-examinations of witnesses, depositions, pleadings, and sentencing. We both have served thousands of clients—each with unique facts, strategies, and outcomes. Our experience made us eager to create and cultivate our own practice, one that would effectively intersect our expertise with our respective passion to serve people in the community.
